Doesn't matter. What matters is Ron Paul used it to smear Huckabee and, by extension, Christianity. It could have been uttered by Donald Duck and the facts would be the same.

It could have been a completely made up quote by Ron Paul and the facts would remain the same.

Paul is a fool. Paul was wrong for saying what he did. And you, and others, are looking foolish for defending him.

No - he used it to attack Huckabee’s televangelistic campaign.

That’s it. It’s a charge that I think has some merit. The Huckabee ad was disgusting.
