Huckabee apparently said recently that most of the framers of the Constitution were clergymen. That's at least a gross exaggeration--were there any clergymen among the delegates in Philadelphia in 1787? Of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, there was one clergyman, John Witherspoon, but he was also president of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University).
