“I see nothing in Huckabee’s background to make me think he’d be a tyrant.”

Other than...

Being a Bloomberg style food nazi?

A big government nanny state supporter - more so than Bush?

Lying about having a theology degree during a recent debate, as if that qualified him to be POTUS anyway?

Using the force of government and his influence as governor to protect his son from prosecution for torturing and killing a dog at scout camp?

Releasing an ad that features a floating cross in the background, as if he had the divine right of kings to rule over us?

Trying to push free intuition for illegals...

He's good on RKBA though. Which puts him a cut above Rudy McRomney, but still very far behind Hunter and even Thompson.

I'm not a big fan of many of Huckabee's actions, but there's nothing in your list that would make we think he's a fascist.

Positions I disagree with, absolutely, and more importantly misjudgements. I think his pardons are a more serious issue, and probably the only one connected to his faith.

But a fascist, no, I don't see it, though I admit I don't think GWB is a fascist either.

BTW, the ad means he thinks he'll be king? That's every bit as nutty an idea as Paul's.
Mike Huckabee running for King? I don't think so, any more than this paints him as a Christian fascist.

At least he's a patriotic Christian fascist.

It wasn’t a “floating cross” or any other cross.

It was a bookcase.
