People are looking for a conservative alternative to Rudy Giuliani, but only if that person can first be equally as credible on the issue of terrorism and national security.

Then why are Rudy's numbers shrinking?

They maybe shrinking a little, but his support is scattering among all of the top candidates. In fact, they’re going to Fred the least out of all. He needs to be doing a better job of courting Giuliani’s soft supporters. These are people who rank national security as their top issue.
