Whoopie! the music once again! Love it & thank you for the work in doing it & considering bringing it over for weekend so we can all enjoy it every time we visit FR.. can play music while we read pings, post, do email etc.

Next couple days are busy.. Lots going on.. including Tuba Christmas on Sunday. It is a nationwide program. Google it & find one in your area. Where I go in Akron there are normally about 500 instruments in the Tuba family that play.. they must pay to participate & the admission for we concert goers is FREE!. If you have never gone before, it is really fun & something young & Old enjoy.. some sing along if you like..Very festive & bring bells (you will know why as the concert progresses)

Here is a pix of my brother's home in Oklahoma city. They have been w/o power since Monday & were told it would be a week to 10 days most likely until it is restored. I recall my years of living in NC & the horrors of the ice storms. We rarely get them here in Ohio but are regularly hammered with blizzards in winter.

Oh No, that is awful they are out of electric for so long. We had ice yesterday. Not near as bad as they have. They have to worry about their pipes etc being affected by cold. I hope they all have somewhere nice, cozy and warm to stay.

This was my after though.... wish I posted the music at the top of the thread though. I hope people will see it here.

That sounds terrific Dolly. I will look on line and see if there is something like this nearby. What a good time you will have. Make sure you tell us about your day of Tuba on Sunday!

Oh, Dolly..It’s bad enough the trees are damaged but no power is really awful. I pray they get it back sooner than expected..

Your tuba concert sounds great!

Wow Dolly, that picture reminds me of this area a little over a year ago. Oct 13. Many were without power for 2 weeks. Here are pics from my place and N. Buffalo. http://www.rusthompson.com/BuffaloStormOct06.html

Goodness, Dolly, that looks like the trees are frozen and ready to break. Terrible that no one can use their Christmas lights for Christmas but I guess that is the least of their troubles.

Tuba event sounds wonderful!

Oh, man! Loss of those trees is bad enough, but if their plumbing goes, they’re going to be in a world of hurt$.

Prayers for your brother.

You should play the tuba.
