Oh any any of you notherners thinking of moving here. YOU WOULD HATE IT. REALLY.

No, I wouldn't.

People here have guns.

Fine with me. And I'll thank the gun owners for the deterrent effect that they provide for unarmed, law-abiding citizens like me. (And hopefully, sooner or later, I would become one of them.)

We don't worship the police or the government (or at least most of us don't).

That's because you are neither mentally ill nor muslim-worshiping Euro-trash wannabes. Thank G*d.

We think speed limits on the expressways are a joke.

I'm happy when I'm doing ten above.

We don't have snow (or as it turns out any precipitation).

Some occasional rain would be nice. I wouldn't miss the friggin' snow, however.

We prefer getting in our vehicles to taking public transport.

So do I.

We still slightly prefer freedom over the government's false promises of security.

Yessssss!

Most people here if given the choice of a free years subscription to the New York Times or a six pack of coke would take the six pack of coke.

I'd prefer a six-pack of Dr. Pepper. :-)

New Yorkers and other yankees, you will really feel uncomfortable here.

NO, I WILL NOT. Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a Georgia peach in my eye!

Oh and did I mention people here have guns?

Yes, you did. Praise be!

(Fellow Georgians, did I do a good enough job?)

No, you forgot to mention your displays of the honorable Confederate battle flag! :-D

Not all of us have confederate flags - some spend the money on more ammunition. It is unfortunate that my kid is employed in the African city of Baltimore, so I go to visit from time to time, and I get to hear the latest outrages inflicted by Marx, Lenin, and O'Malley
