I've heard that McDonalds gives police free food as an incentive to have them hanging around the store and patrolling the parking lot. Maybe it would work for Denny's.

An idea like that is much better than forcing the restaurant to close in the late night hours. The ideal solution is for the animals to behave, but since they won't police presence might do the trick.

A practice that is discouraged or illegal in many areas, being considered as a bribe to give extra protection to some places over others (disproportionately affecting poor and minority areas). I'll give you 25 guesses as to which groups initiated such objections, and the last 24 guesses don't count.
