That is factually incorrect. Neither Beck nor his wife were LDS. Beck’s wife told him she would not marry him unless they shared a religion. They took their family to a variety of churches and decided as a family to convert to the LDS Church.

Well I stand corrected then.

And from what I have heard him say he converted for her.
So now I know the rest of the story.
I’ll have to read his book when it arrives under the Christmas Tree.
