I too share your respect for the ethical integrity of our troops. Though I won't pretend our intelligence services have ethical integrity, I think we need to keep things above board, and away from the waterboard, for our troops' sake.

If Al-Quaeda waterboarded a captured Marine to force him to reveal his friends' position, I'd call that torture. I hope others would too.

Al Qaida merely chops off our soldiers’ heads, burns our soldiers bodies, hangs them from a bridge, booby-traps their dead bodies with bombs and sends suicide bombers over to our soldiers when their passing out candy and toys to children.

Yeah, let’s keep things above board, Mr. Murtha.

Let’s fight with spitballs and say ‘pretty please’ when we interrogate. Feh.

Al Qaeda doesn't water board captured Marines or any other captured American servicemen, they beat them, they electrocute them, they bleed them, they smash their genitalia with hammers, they carve them, they burn them, they whip them, they stab them, they mutilate them, they castrate them, they stab them, They do things to our captured Servicemen that make what the Japanese did to the survivors of Bataan seem like a San Francisco sissy boy love fest, but they don't waterboard them.

Waterboarding is done by those that don't want to physically harm those waterboarded.
