I think such a consideration is the least of his irrationalities. These guys just pile on the junk so they can have their feeble illusions of being Mr. Terminator.

The stature indicated in the guy’s pic indicates he would have been hunched over with 1000 rnds of even 223. If it were shotgun shells he’d need assistance of several church patrons to get him up off the ground and move him along. ...but maybe the some info about a little red wagon will be forthcoming.
