Have you read the link in comment# 1? There’s no other reasonable explanation than Bloomy is going third party. I’m all ears for an alternative explanation.

Hillary wants to put the Republicans on the spot with the “sucker moms” yet remain detached enough not to scare off lukewarm Democrat hunters and sportsmen who make up some of the mindless “middle”.
She wants to position somebody to her far left, thereby making herself look “reasonable”. It’s a tried and true tactic, and it’s really not hard (for us political junkies, anyway) to figure out. Bloomberg may get “into the race” but no way will he still be in it when election day finally rolls around. Expect him to throw his support to Hillary.
