It’s so wonderful to see many of those who fought for Terri, both on line and off, here in this thread.
I will never forget the horror of that time...never.
Don’t forget about Tori Schmanski. She is very similiar to Terri Schiavo and there is a large and growing movement for recovery in a small reagion of Utah. Tori gets lots of support.
The Terri supporters who were stunned that nobody saved her completely dropped out of activism and stopped voting. Disabled people are afraid they’re going to get it someday. That’s the message her murder sent. The people were betrayed. Politicians and judges were superior to legal, moral and religious principles. The rule of law now outed as a total sham if there was ever any doubt.
