What I understood from an earlier interview with the unarmed rusher is that he made a vow after Columbine that he would run towards the trouble, not away, and do what he could to stop the attack even if he got shot.

So he did, and he did. Brave man. Hopefully it's not a serious wound, but it is a most honorable scar in any case.

HOw about those 2 armed guards who couldn’t/wouldn’t shoot? Boggles my mind. Thank God for the lady.
