I think hell just froze over. This is the lead story at CNN.com.
According to what I've read, this guy had a rifle, was wearing a ballistic vest and tactical helmet, and his pockets were BULGING with tons of ammunition.
And she "rushed toward him and took him down in the hallway as he entered the church," where 7000 people were present.
FABULOUS job by this FEMALE ARMED CIVILIAN, credited by the pastor with probably saving over a hundred lives.

Satan is stuck up to his waist in ice!
CNN reported this?
Without trying to find a “downside” or a “contrasting opinion” about this her’s action?

I really don't understand this trend in this country to hail people as heroes for doing the job they were hired to do. Yes, this woman did a very good job and did save many lives, but that is why she was hired. I heard the pastor saying that the guard was there because there was alarm about the shooting near Denver.
Like many other words and phrases in our country, hero is losing some of its meaning by excessive usage.

2 people killed by the perpetrator, 3 more wounded. And obviously he was armed, armored up and intent on killing dozens or hundreds of people. But a legally armed civilian "rushed toward him" and took him down
as he was entering the church.Man, I will be thinking about this all day.

This makes you feel terrible for the security guards at the Omaha mall, who weren’t allowed to carry guns and had to watch along with everyone else. Their employer’s decision must torture them.
Guns save lives.

Awesome! This is why Jesus told us to keep “swords” (Luke 22:36).

All we get in the first paragraph is that a parishioner shot and killed a visitor to the church.
