Being a social conservative, Huckabee and Thompson will do just fine for me. But if Rudy is the nominee.....I’ll stay home. I just could never vote for him. I even find it hard to believe that the Republican party could even entertain the idea that Rudy is a viable candidate.
I’m afraid that some of our republican fiscal conservatives friends could never vote for Huckabee. Not a problem for me though. I suppose some need to hold firm to the known. Discomfort for the Fair Tax guys like Huckabee and longing for the warm fuzzies of the IRS will be hard to give up for some.

“Discomfort for the Fair Tax”

It’s not the Fair Tax that particularly bothers me about Huckabee. It’s supporting Al-Gore-ism, releasing violent criminals, raising taxes, and coddling illegal immigrants.
I was hoping to nominate someone better than Bush, not someone noticeably worse.

Next year’s election will likely be at least a three way race, since Mike Bloomberg is right now busy getting foreign policy tutoring. If the Republican Party doesn’t nominate a real conservative, the country will have to choose between three liberals. Ugh.
