The assembly of believers that I belong to has no armed security guards. We welcome "maniacs". We're 'bout 100 strong (if one counts the children).

OTOH, the Holy Spirit most likely would compell/convict one of the brother/sisters who hold CCW - several who do - to "carry" on the arbitrary day that a "maniac" may have issue with either doctrine and/or Elder leadership. To do so during the Lord's Supper would require some massive "conviction" though.

That is sort of a peculiar thing though ...

So with 100 members, you probably haven't had too many threats phoned in. These mega churches get multiple threats all the time.

It's like saying "we don't have any security guards at my kid's soccer game, why do they need security guards when the Lakers are playing?"
