The bench was on a walkway in front of a large classroom building. The walkway connected from the Oval, a circular drive where the bus was parked, through the commons area between two buildings, over to the stadium, a little ways away.

It was closer to the bus area than to the stadium, though.

Thanks, I guess I was close, but not having been there, at least not in the last 30 years or so, I knew I didn't have it exactly right. Having a couple of screaming babies to take care of kind of limited my research, otherwise I'd have looked it up on the OU site.

I have been on that campus once more recently, when my older daughter, the one with those twin babies, went to OU to take her LSAT. I spent the time in the student union, and walking around and in the Army and AF ROTC buildings. Didn't go over by the stadium, that I recall anyway.

I did take two classes at OU, back in the '70s when I was stationed at Tinker. "Foundations of Mathematics" and "Modern Control Systems", IIRC. Still have the book for that second one, might have the one for the first, but it would be squirled away somewhere. Fun class, but I've not had much need for the book.

But even though I lived in Midwest City for 9 months, and sometimes drove through Norman on my way to Sherman Texas. I've not chosen to visit Barry's House. :0
