Evidently someone thought that post was RUDE.

I was commenting on a NET MENTALITY

that I find gestapo-like and mindlessly slavishly restrictive

of variety in communication through a decidedly and obviously otherwise limited means—text scrolling across a screen.

Sheesh. One would think we’d be increasing diversity and variety vs arbitrarily and unncessarily limiting it.

When I see CAPS, I note CAPS. I wait to see what they seem to be indicating.

And, so what EVEN IF THEY ARE SCREAMING. Doesn’t exactly hurt my ear drums, now does it! LOL.

And my eyes aren’t in great pain because of ALL CAPS—EVEN GREAT BIG RED ALL CAPS.

All this hullaballo about CAPS seems like so much elitist snobbery prissiness, to me.

I realize mileage may vary and that I’m against the tide on this.
