Not nice.
What was the one yesterday? The mall in OH?
I’m so sorry to hear that GeoPie... Thank you for sharing what you know with us. I hope the police can get some answers for all of you as to who this person was and why this happened (although I know answers won’t take away your pain).
Everyone affected by this tragedy will be in my prayers, and I’ll be praying for your SIL’s brother and your whole family as well... May the L-rd gather you all in his loving embrace and bless you with strength and comfort during this time.
Prayers...............
I realized I may have misinterpreted your post... Was your SIL’s brother involved in the shooting in Arvada, or another incident? Regardless I will still be praying...
Did he survive his wounds?
Moron!
Your right, MORON.... just because the church had a pastor that had to resign because of sin in HIS life, doesn't make the church bad!! LEt's get real people....I am getting so I won't watch MSM any more!!! Please God, raise up media with integrity!!!!!!
No they don’t. Maybe people on FR do, but the general public doesn’t have a clue.
Thanks LibertyRocks. :-) Sorry for the slow reply proud, I was away from the computer for a while.
Your eyes are quite accurate.
Whenever these brain dead commercials come on, I switch to another channel, even to look at something else for two minutes. The OxyClean guy is enough to make you take pills.
I am guessing so , should have read the post more closely....
Glad to help! :)
Ijust said the same thing. My husband can’t stand him either. I just switch channels (to watch another drug commercial???). I can’t stand the Boniva one either with Sally Fields. Imagine, her friend having to set aside time to take one pill a day. What a fruitcake. I hate it.
Although he did give an emphatic "No" to this question as he walked to the mike (the question was actually shouted at the police spokesman who was just walking away), I didn't think he acted "ticked off" in any way. Yes, I too was ticked at the questions being asked by those reporters, but I'm not going to project my feelings on the pastor.
Interesting thing about that pastor - I had two different reactions to him, back to back. First, when they asked him what his own personal tale to tell was, he said that he was in his office when the shots were fired and then someone came in to tell him. His first reaction he said, was to call his wife to make sure she was OK and out of harm's way. He then visibly started to tear up and turned away from the mike.
My instant reaction was negative. Based on my years of rigorous Hollywood training (I watched every season of "24"), I said to myself, "WHAT?!?" He's the head of this church! Their general! Their President! He should have immediately got in touch with all his security guards, with his TAC teams, with his communications staff, etc. etc. How dare he shrug all that responsibility off his shoulders and concentrate on his wife?
Then it dawned on me. This isn't Jack Bauer. This is a real life pastor who has never commanded a SWAT team in his life (not counting prayer SWAT teams, that have very different training). The more I thought about it, I thought, Good for you pastor! Your heart was in the right place. Your first reaction was the right one.
If I'm ever in the Springs on a Sunday morning, I know where I want to visit!
“The part they dont want to hear is just how many times the
SheepDawg wins...;0)”
It sounds like the sheep dog (security guard)won today at the church.
I don’t think having a brain abnormality or some other sort of disability is something that is considered a sin and an abomination by God. Homosexual activity is something that one must consciously engage in, while being born with a brain abnormality that affects motor skills and other functions is not the type of thing a person can necessarily change. I don’t see a comparison between the two.
You mentioned homosexuality being a mental disorder. Well, I’ll agree that it isn’t normal behavior. But, if we are to give free reign in our society to every type of mental disorder, wouldn’t we have to have the same attitude towards pedophiles, rapists, murderers and the like? Don’t we have to accept folks as they are? Who knows, maybe most of today’s criminals were born with some sort of genetic flaw that makes them want to rape and kill. Should we be “all inclusive” and show them compassion and tolerance instead of trying to make them out to be a pox on society? We could take any kind of misbehavior and abnormality and pass it off as something a person was born with. Where do we draw the line? Let me be clear in saying that I’m not comparing homosexuals to murderers, but I’m trying to point out that some crooks will argue that they were born with something that made them more likely to become a criminal. After all, who would choose to rape or kill? Who in their right mind would want to do such a thing?
Like Hillary and the democrats feel, they were before they weren’t...
and black muslims, many from our prison system, unfortunately.
