I’d like to nominate this for Quote of the Year.

Great article JH2! I just made a comment on another thread related to this. I've been thinking a lot about what the agenda of the press is in finally noticing the good news in Iraq. I hadn't really thought about it from your angle. The
Enemedia is NOT on our (America's) side. We do well to remember that they do not want us to be victorious.

Aqua! what a lovely job you have done presenting John’s great essay.
Greet graphics & I loved your pledge. Thanks for filling in for dutchess. I was gone yesterday & could have only done it this morning late.. you are a trooper to help & hope that it did not distress your eyes too much along the way
Yes, LOL re: easier than state thread. I dont want Billie to get “TOO EXCITED” but I have begun work on it for use in either Jan or Feb..

Great stuff as always. Bill Keller of the
NY Times is still stubbornly selling the Quagmire Party Line in London, I notice, but the chorus is getting a little weaker as the choristers start to smell the fish rotting. The longer it goes on the stupider they look, and the smart ones are already looking for a tactful exit.
That includes Hillary, and she is actually in a better position than Obama on the issue simply because he's been flogging her on it for being (hold your lunch) "pro-war." The facts don't matter on that side of the fence, only the perception. The same guys happily still chanting "quagmire" overseas will be equally happy to pontificate how "moderate" she's been on the issue. Watch it happen.
That said, a bit of triumphalism might be premature but it certainly is satisfying. Enjoy it while we can. The entire issue is about to sink deep into the MSM memory tank and if things go as they are no one at the Times will be able to spell "Iraq" in six months. That's good for the Iraqis and great for the troops, God bless them.
