I’m sure they featured Bill Cosby telling the parents they are responsible for how their youth turn out. I’m sure that happened.....NOT!

Yeah, no narrative to the 911 operator bragging about your gun b/f you shoot.

Keep in mind that anything you post on the Internet can be used against you in trial, should things happen.

It goes without saying that you should use caution and careful judgement with deadly force.
Would I shoot somebody for trying to steal something own?
I doubt it.
Would I shoot somebody trying to kill me or someone in my family? You can count on it.
This guy’s combination of attorney and gun trainer is useful, but he is serving two masters.
“He said after he explains the legal and financial liability for shooting someone, the majority of his students decide not to pack a pistol. “
The problem here is a judicial system which, in some places, puts the rights of a criminal above those of a law-abiding citizen trying to protect HIS rights.
Remember, attorneys get paid “defending” people who often should have no need to be defended, or defending criminals who should probably not be walking around.

There are laws that govern when and if a police officer can shoot a fleeing criminal in the back. If all of the following four conditions are met - In Texas at night it's easier for a citizen to shoot a criminal than it is for a police officer to do the same thing.

"The law also provides civil immunity for a person who lawfully
slays an intruder or attacker in such situations. "
With that in place (and if really honored)...the only criminals in
Texas should be the very dumb one.
And/or the ones with a very stout death-wish.
And I hope that civil immunnity extends to leaving the perp
"physically challenged" or in a permanent vegetative state.

We’re only a couple months into the new law, and as we know, prosecutors don’t always agree.
Good to know the facts and have access to legal advice when you carry.

Those are Los Angeles Police Department regulations. Texas cops may operate under different rules.

It’s incredible to think how much it can cost you financially for doing something that makes sense.
Bottom line is to know the facts of the law (as much as possible, since DA’s take their own positions) and use good judgment.

What if the thieves want to rape your daughter? The guy was in his house and saw theives breaking into his neighbors house. He went outside to confront the thieves. He called 911, but the police were taking forever to show up. I wouldn't say he was in immient danger, but I am not sure if he knew for sure that his neighbors weren't home.
If there was a chance they were home who knows what the theives could be doing to them.

The perps’ actions make it clear they have already made certain choices.
They know it’s not their home.
They know the stuff therein is not theirs.
They know they may encounter someone inside.
They have decided they can “cope” with whoever may be inside.
They have decided to violate the sanctity of someone’s “castle”.
They have decided that force against any protector thereof is possible and acceptable.
They will escape by any means necessary.
They will bring tools to facilitate escape by any means necessary.
They will place their own lives at grave risk, and then do anything to anyone to preserve themselves.
Their decision has been made.
They will not discuss, reconsider, or negotiate short of the threat or act of force.
They will NOT, in a Pythonesque manner, stop and say “it’s a fair cop.”
And if they get away with it, they’ll do it again.

Tell it to Sean Taylor.

Submit to them, remember the perp has rights and the average citizen needs a lawyer to make a decision. Screw a criminal justice system that continuously defends damn crooks and allow those that defend themselves to be subjected to hell. The ABA is as corrupt as criminals and the American Judicial System that a bunch of thugs rule .
