Sad to say, MSNBC in particular (CNN a little bit better - at least on the number of hostages) appear at this point to have gotten things pretty much right all along, and they've had better live video. Better local affiliates? Straight info pipe to DNC folks & campaign staffers (they ARE the DNC after all)? Who's to say.
All I know is Fox is looking pretty stupid right now, which is sad cause I can't stand to watch either of the other two networks due to all the leftist whining & propaganda that "colors" everything they report.
I hear ya! I started watching mostly MSNBC only because they seemed to have better info.
Yep. I’d say it looks like FOX screwed the pooch on this one, all right.
Your point about CNN/MSNBC being hardwired into the DNC thus getting better info is a VALID ONE.
Fox did great. They had a man on the ground. All stations hinted that the hostages were all out .Rumor has it the man has 2 names.I heard this on another station.
I would love to see Fox clean up its act -- I could live with never again seeing Shep, Carl, Bill and Geraldo, but that is just my opinion.
Agreed,
FNC looks pretty bad on this coverage. Who, other than “Campaign Carl”, helped them out here?
I think that other than Britt Hume they are all a bunche of asses.
I used to like John Gibson, but lately he can’t ask a question if it’s not printed on the screen. Smith an Whorealdo lost me way before their piss poor coverage of Katrina.
I won’t even bother to comment on their prime time lineup.
Thank goodness for the internet and The FreeRepublic!
