There's More to the Keith Kerr Story
Human Events ^ | 11/29/2007 | Ericka Andersen

Controversy erupted last night after Republican presidential candidates participating in the CNN/YouTube debate received a question from an undisclosed gay activist and supporter of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Retired Brig. Gen. Keith H. Kerr told candidates he was an “openly gay man,” member of the “California National Reserve”, and asked “why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians?”

He did not mention that he is a member of the LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee and a co-chair on Hillary Clinton's National Military Veterans group.

Kerr was in the audience and host Anderson Cooper even asked him if he was satisfied with the answers. All of the candidates support the “don’t ask-don’t tell” policy and Kerr said he was not happy with their responses.

No, he’s a real general, but in order to have served all those years, he is a lying general.

“No, he’s a real general, but in order to have served all those years, he is a lying general.”

You are wrong.

He has never been a federally recognized US Army General. He only has a state rank in the California State Military Reserve, a state agency which backs up the National Guard.

He is not authorized to use the rank or wear the uniform outside the state of California.

When I heard that, I thought I heard wrong. Maybe he meant the reserves. Thisis getting more bizarre.
No officer or enlisted man would claim to be a higher rank unless they were drunk or trying to impress a hot chick.
Its like saying you were on a secret mission in Cambodia...

Anyone have a pic of him in uniform? I’d be FASCINATED to check-out the decorations he’s wearing.

I'll bet he's simply stunning.

I wonder if he was a homosexual while he was serving in Military Intelligence during the Cold War?

“They didn’t ask...he didn’t tell.”

One problem — that didn’t become policy until 1992, when Clinton became president. Until then homosexuals were NOT allowed in the military. Period.

Kerr was on active duty 1953 to 58, then in the reserves from 1960 to 86.

Nope - Gays have never been more than 1-2% active, plus another 1/2% or so who “experiment”.

Problem is, they are 30-60% in certain fields that ARE strongly democrat/liberal/socialist (like media & entertainment & stage & writers & motion pictures) that DO control what America thinks.

Give them years of exposure? Sure, they become more powerful through their exposure and control of what we hear and read.
