"Rioters 'were out to kill us', says wounded French officer" (YouTube Video Links)

PARIS - "It felt like they were out to kill us. We knew there were weapons in the suburbs, but never turned against us like that," one of the police officers shot during youth riots near Paris told AFP Wednesday.

Sent to the suburb of Villiers le Bel to quell an outbreak of violence that followed the death of two teens in a crash with police, Francois, who asked not to be fully identified, found himself under siege.

"We were attacked from all sides" by youths armed with hunting rifles."

"The kids were shooting at us at close range, loading and reloading their weapons. I've never seen anything like it. It was like in a movie. They were picking us off from 10 or 15 metres away."

"I was hit in the hand with what I thought was a slingshot. I didn't realise right away that it was buckshot, until I saw the hole in my trousers. I tried to protect my younger colleagues, then I fell to the ground."

Police unions say the scale and intensity of the violence unleashed since Sunday is worse than the 2005 riots, also sparked by the deaths of two youths.

A line was crossed, they say, when suburb gangs turned guns on the police, 120 of whom were injured, several by gunwound. The hunting rifles used by the gangs are dangerous anywhere within a 300-metre (yard) range.

Neal Boortz put out a challenge and I repeat it here.

Watch the MSM, your local paper, all the news outlets you can find. See how many of them inform you of the fact that the rioters are muslim.

He's wrong. All the rioters are Quakers...

NO!!! Those poor, exploited, persecuted Muslim youths trying to KILL somebody????!!!!! IMPOSSIBLE

I've been looking around at a bunch of the youtube videos of the rioters. Some of those youths look awfully old. I think there is more being covered up than just the fact that they are Muslims.

RE number 10: problem is where will the Judeo Christians come from, as Western Europe is now largely atheist and birthrates are also very low among Europeans?

What else can they be?

I’ve run into that denial as well in europe. There is this widespread belief that muslims can be good for the economy of a country if they are simply accepted into the society. These people fail to see that the muslims are integrating the country into islam and destroying western culture.

Probably the ringleaders and clerics.

The only thing I would add is “you are violating their rights” by trying to defend life and property from these “misunderstood” yoots.

Dang, I heard the same stuff back during Vietnam when I was in college. When Kent State happened, people got together to talk about it and some of them said it was OK to trash or burn someone else's property to protest the war. It's only physical property, after all, not the taking of someone's life that war does.

These 'peaceful' people were some of the most angry, most violent people on campus. The kind who would hit you over the head with a peace sign if you disagreed with them.

FoxNews wont tell you, because it is 10%-owned by a Saudi Prince who last year bragged about getting Rupert Murdoch to stop referring to "Muslim riots" in FNC broadcasts.

That belief is interesting especially coming from the French, who are experts at locking out all newcomers from joining the economy with their rigid socialist rules, and rigid union guilds. Even if there was such a thing as a hard-working muzzie, he couldn't find a job in the national commune known as France (although Sarkozy's trying to change that a bit).

this was my first thought too. but to be honest. in our “world” police can not fire in an “mostly unarmed” crowd. works fine in china but in europe or US there is NO WAY.

As much as I try, I cannot feel any sympathy for the French until they start shooting back with life ammo. Use the sights on the gun and don’t just point it in the air, dammit.

Remember, the PC thing to do is to say these are not “muzzl’em rioters,” just muzzl’ems who happen to be rioting.

I’d move to a Muslim-free France in a heartbeat... given the appropriate subsidies from the French government to do so, of course.

Rioting Parisian Muslim utes would be easier for an American deer hunter to hit than game, more needing of being shot and more plentiful.

What good is a dedicated worker if he tries to ruin the host country and kill his neighbor?

What you said is part of the problem. Things like this have happened before - to the Brits, the French, and to Americans. Back when we went into Ashcanistan and Iraq - when people were saying how can we fight in those countries - I stated we did it before - against the Indians. Only later did I read and remember our incursions in the Philippines. So, the west has done this before. Due to incompentence, PC, tolerance, guilt, whatever - our leaders are not doing what needs done.
