Once again, the Dr. of all things nails it.

The laxing of admissions standards over the past 30 years in favor of numbers has definitely taken the toll on the credibility of academia. Most notably, in the critical thinking department. Which is why we now have so many in Universities who will readily lap up leftist professorial drivel without questioning the veracity it in any way shape or form.

One has to wonder if this was in the plan all along. Please tell me if I’m off base in any way.

I think you hit a home run along with Dr. Sowell. I believe many would benefit from trade schools rather than going through an academic program that will only turn out to be wasted.
