see my post in #55.
I will watch with interest to see if the one poster comes up with anything more about the finding of the Ark; I'm pretty open about it.
I used to look forward to the building of the third temple, even desird to contribute monetarily toward it, then I got to thinking. To a Christian without dissing the Jews, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, so to reinstitute the old sacrifice might be deemed sacrilege or unnecessary to a Christian except only to fulfill prophecy, if one/several points to that.
Whatever I read or saw about the Ethiopians was too long ago to recall the details, just that some made a case for the ark's being there. What is interesting is that they seem to have retained their Judaism along with Christian beliefs, much like the original Jewish Christians whom I thought had been killed off, assimilated, or died off. The early Christians would not have held the same ritualistic practices as at the time of Manasseh though.
There are many things to wonder about, but it will all come out according to God's plan. We, meaning anyone who attempts to hurry that plan along, would not be doing so according to His will. Seeking the ark would possibly interfere with the plan. If it is meant to be found, it will. If not, no attempts to find it will succeed, just as in the quest for the chalice.
