All the data and common sense reflects that the cartels are trying to divert attention away from the border.

Yet this article, published by a very un-reliable source, says that the cartels are facilitating an event that would not just draw more attention to the border, but would also raise that attention to another level.

The level of attention would remain the same and the adminsitration would play down the event just as they have with the daily violence that is occuring now.

Besides, no one would ever attack a US military base around the Christmas season....
