Of course Pat is like Joe McCarthy -- both of them conservative heroes unafraid to offend the politically correct.
If you buy into and perpetuate the smear of McCarthy, I am not surprised that you'd have a similar, knee-jerk aversion to Pat.
But maybe you belong to that neo strain of conservatism that came late to anit-communism and has always pushed for high level of immigration to promote a multicultural America.
Joe McCarthy did more damage to the fight against communism in this country than the communists could have done if they tried. He was a vile, drunken liar who hung with the Kennedys, so please don’t lecture me until you’ve stopped inhaling that tired spin and learned the facts. McCarthy gave the libs ammo they’re STILL using to smear those who fought and fight communism, and of course all you can do is push that tired “you push for a high level of immigration” crap when I’ve POSTED my feelings about illegal immigration.
