I don't care who the Republicans run. I dont like any of them especially Rudy. Too many RINO's in the Republican party and I feel they start losing elections before they wake up.
And if that means that the democrats start winning and using the government to take away more and more of our rights, (which they most certainly will do especially regarding guns), then Americans will be forced to decide how far they really need to go preserve their liberties then won't they ???
Its when times are hard that we find out who the real Americans are.
If you want to see how far people will go before defending their rights, just look at Europe which has become socialist. We can never let things go that far because there comes a point when we cannot get our freedom back. The socialists/Democrats tactic is to make so many people dependent on government that they will always vote Democrat. We have been suffering with this problem since Saint FDR. In our case there was still a conservative base which comes from the roots of our tradition, which the Europeans did not have. But unfortunately we have been moving too far towards socialism especially in the metropolitan areas and blue states like Massachusetts, where I live. There is such a herd mentality in this state, it is just unbelievable.
It is a very dangerous strategy to let things get too close to the edge of the cliff...one of these days we might fall off that cliff. Instead of playing “chicken” with our future, we have to use every opportunity to do damage control. “Worse is better” is always worse. We sometimes have to settle for half a loaf until we can get a full loaf.
Once people get dumb, they tend to stay dumb and they pass the dumbness gene on to their kids. That is what I see in Massachusetts. People here are SOOO DUMB that they have been complaining about welfare for 30 years, yet they still vote Democrat. They have been complaining about crime for 30 years, yet they still vote Democrat and they still can’t figure out that Democrats appoint liberal judges who let criminals get away with murder.
