To: Montana Headlines
If I had received this letter, I would see it as an attempt to get me to contribute or else. The letter indicates how much I contributed to the GOP and if I refused to contribute to the Dims, then I better be on guard because they, the Dims, know all about me. This is underhanded intimidation tactics, with no need to spell out the consequences of refusing to contribute. The silence of not spelling it out speaks volumes. I see this as a prelude to something the national Dims will start doing. The Dims govern by fear.

Reminds me of the intimidation of what Chavez is doing in Venezuela.

As I noted above, your response was precisely how most Republicans we’ve talked to saw the letter.

Again, a reason for posting this was out of curiosity to see how people outside Montana would see the letter and to see if anything similar has been encountered elsewhere around the country.
