The police are all corrupt. It used to be you could buy your way out of a situation in Mexico but its gotten to the point where one can't tell the different between the cops and the crime gangs. They're all on the take and its been that way in Mexico for centuries.

Mexican corruption and arrogance,coming to a school board, county commission,police department,library, mayors office, congress seat, senate seat, etc.. I have often wondered how long before the Invaders begin to administrate the west and other regions with their beautiful culture of corruption.One day soon you’ll have to bribe your way from Texas to California when all the cops are expecting their cultures due.

A couple of years ago I read where the police were renting out their uniforms to bring in a few extra bucks, and not caring too much about who the renters were.

It looks like they cut out the middleman.
