The real pro-active types leave the state for a better life elsewhere, and the dyed-in-wool socialists remain?
Socialism is a vicious cycle, in that it creates economic malaise, and that economic malaise creates more government dependency, which increases support for socialism.
Here in OH, I had hoped the economic malaise would actually intensify, so the voters would be angrier than in 2006, but Strickland has cleverly done . . . nothing at all.
