They don’t tolerate the practice of any religion other than Islam. They sound like the moderates to me...
I’m pointing out how civil rights violations can be found around the world, even with so called civil rights groups joining IN on the violations.
Hell no, there are no good guys over there. We need to replace oil with something, anything we can get from the western world (preferably within our own borders)...
The media sees no difference in any religious fundamentalism.
The use of “conservative” is incorrect in this instance.
It would be like calling “ecologists” conservatives because they “conserve” resources or oppose changing the natural state of things.
India and China will still buy that oil funding the Saudis power trip for another hundred years.

I have not witnessed a public lashing, but I did spend more than a decade working in SA. I know of one particular expat (US) who was lashed that way and then put on the plane to be deported.
Great, so let them have the dysfunctional business partners..

Contrast this with the comments made by Saudi oil ministers about the viability of Alberta Crude.
Believe me, if I have to pay a $10 premium on $40/BBL oil for oil coming from Alberta, at the expense of these animals, I’d be more than happy to pay it.
Colorado has its share of oil sands too, I might add.
Tell me why we should let ANY of them into this country!
