"True, but inaccurately sliming another candidates endorsement by implying it was bought isnt going to help Romney." Very true. Too much of that sort of thing can make a serious candidate look like a whiney little bitch. No one likes a candidate who handles adversity like a school girl.

Did you watch the video linked in post 85? Depending on which side Mitt was really on, and we don't really know, he was either lying to his whole state about being pro abortion or he lied to the pro life organization who gave him their endorsement based on his profession to them. The man was caught playing both sides of the fence there.
So was he lying when he took the endorsement or when he adamantly declared he was pro abortion? One way or another there was a lot of lying going on there. Mitt can't have it both ways and it really doesn't matter which side he was actually on when he was lying. If he is shown to be a man who openly lies to the voters about a major policy position, there is just no way he's going to be trusted by the majority of conservatives.
And by the way... On this video Mitt promises he will do nothing during his term to hinder a "woman's right to choose". To my knowledge, that was the truth.

Actually, most of what you post makes no sense. You attack anyone who doesn’t follow your posting specifications.
I am heartbroken that someone who called me a coward is “disappointed” in me.
Buzz off.

Since we aren't making any headway, and we want to see who is really committed (or not) to life, I'll make a wager:
I will wager any of you $1 (my legal limit) that either shortly after IA, NH, or SC, Thompson will announce he is out of the race because it has boiled down to Rudy and Willard, and that he will endorse Rudy.
Any takers?

Great. I have three dollars coming to me in January. Almost enough for Starbucks.

I accept. [Unless, by wagering the huge sum of one dollar, we are breaking deep dark double secret forum rules or obscure federal laws which could result in banning or prison time, in which case I agree to pay off in postage stamps or chocolate...whichever you prefer.]

You took a bet with a stranger on the internet for $1000?
I am beginning to understand how you can support Lazy Fred.
No worries, I totally trust you will pay me the $1.

Lazy FRed?
Perhaps you should be required to post a bond on all those bets you’re taking. I mean, if your judgment is that bad that you think a man who has accomplished as much as FRed has is lazy.
I’m just sayin’...

Either Lazy Fred or Five Percent Fred (NH!). I'm trying to come up with something catchy.
And you know, I realize at the end of the day that we are all likely going to wind up behind the same guy, whomever he is, so I'm not going all vitrolic on one guy and then have to eat my words (as was done in 2000 by a guy whose initials are JIM ROBINSON.)
I may not be good for much, but I am good for $5. And unless you are blue and 5 inches tall, I'm the only one not hiding their identity here.

Though this is no defense of
Paul Weyrich and his comments regarding the NRLC endorsement of Fred Thompson, there is a prayer thread for
Paul Weyrich on Freerepublic (2006) because he is a diabetic.
So maybe any health problems might be a factor in this.
Please consider praying for someone whose words are heeded by many conservatives in this country...
God bless!
