at least the PD will think hard and heavy before doing this sort of thing again.No, they won't. They will just counsel the officers to either try to call the dog out of the yard to be shot or to arrest the dog owner for something after shooting the dog.

the parent is lucky to know that it even happened. if the cops had used the typical mp5 dog killing gun, the kids probably would've been the ones to find it swiss cheesed in the yard.
