Never heard this before. Around here the liberal alleged native-American “activists” like Ward Churchill go bats@#t around Columbus Day, but they’ve quiet about Thanksgiving. Makes sense, though. The libs are systematically attacking all our holidays and observances.

Gotta break down everything that’s uniquely American if you want the US more easily assimilated into the World Socialist Order. They have also recently made it illegal for American historians and museums to acquire American Military Medals and Decorations for study or display. When I homeschooled for two years a couple of years ago, I bought some kids’ books about Thanksgiving. One, I didn’t even read—just thumbed through it—it looked good. I ended up having to take it back—it was so full of venom toward the Pilgrims.
