With less than a year to go before the presidential election, many people are trying to find out more about the candidates. A fascinating web site has the ability to pick the person who best represents your values and beliefs. It's called The Select a Candidate Quiz. We set up the web site page on a laptop computer at the Salt Lake Roasting Company.
Julie Jensen is our volunteer. She's say she's 25 years old, from Salt Lake City and describes herself as a moderate who leans a bit toward the left. Julie filled out several questions on timely issues including, Iraq, immigration, the death penalty and abortion.
After she finishes the quiz, she's ready to see her results. She wants to find out whom the computer thinks she should vote for. Earlier she told us her favorite next November is probably Hillary Clinton. The computer says, "Chris Dodd, Obama, Clinton." Jenny says shes impressed, she says, "Maybe it knows better than I do."
We answered the same questions with a conservative bend and got our top four candidates as Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney and John McCain.
To take the quiz yourself, go to the Select a Candidate quiz.
With all the new rumors popping up about Hillary
Clintons alleged affair with her aide Huma Abedin -
and the possibility that the LA Times is holding a
story about it -
heres your bumper sticker - Hillarys not Kosher!
Facts
Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to an Indian
father and Pakistani mother, both Muslims. True
enough. But the facts that Abedin was raised in Saudi
Arabia where her mother has long been a professor of
Islamic studies in Saudi Arabia are of crucial
importance.
Even more troubling than the lesbian thing is Huma’s
Saudi background and the question of whether Huma is
a Saudi agent. Of couse, the lesbian affair could be
linked to Saudi blackmail, considering that Huma was
mentioned in one MSM story to be Her Thighness’
Middle East advisor.
......a top level U.S. Department of Justice
official is saying Hillary Clinton is fooling around
with one
of her top female aides Huma Abedin........I am close
enough to Hillary and Huma to tell you that this
rumor is true, the official says. It is well known
inside her campaign that Hillary and Huma are an
item. If you call Hillarys residence in DC first
thing
in the morning, Huma answers the phone, the official
continues. Same thing late at night, and on the road.
Its a closely guarded secret that Hillarys inner
circle guards at all costs........
and finally ...
many tipsters have reminded us of page 42 of Gennifer
Flowerss 1995 book, Passion and Betrayal. Starting
on that page, Bill Clintons ex-flame says that he
very
clearly told her that Hillary is a lesbian:
Theres something you need to know. Ive been
hearing tales around town that Hillary is having
another
thing with a woman. I watched his face to see his
reaction, and couldnt believe it when he burst out
laughing.I was stunned! I asked him what was so funny.
Honey, he said, shes probably eaten more p***y
than I
have.
Bill said he had known for a long time that Hillary
was attracted to women, and it didnt really bother
him anymore. His first clue came from her lack of
enjoyment of sex with him. She didnt like to
experiment and insisted on the missionary position
and nothing else. Because she wasnt enjoying herself;
neither was he. Sex with her became a duty; nothing
more.

Be sure to take the quiz now!
No surprise, mine was tied between Fred and Duncan Hunter.
Duncan Hunter.
Hunter Thompson McCain
oops, left off the “;”.
Ditto ... 62
LOL! My candidate is Dennis Kucinich! ‘Course, I cheated a little bit. ;^)
I got a 66. Disagreed with them only on the Energy position (which isn’t all that important to me, anyhow).
Did the compiler tell you that? j/k
Gravel is my guy. Can I still hang out with you guys?!
Well, I am a Fred man.
Then Hunter (and then sharply decreasing) McCain, Romney, Guiliani.
Farthest from Hillary, although I vote for her before I would vote for Romney or Rudy.
getting to where I can spot 'em now...
Select a Candidate: Your results for President
This survey is not designed to tell you what candidate you should vote for. It is intended only to help you think about your positions and then introduce you to the candidates. We have an extensive collection of information about each candidate, and their positions are much more detailed than what appears on this survey. So we encourage you to spend time on each of the pages, read the stories, listen to the candidates’ own words, and learn more about each of them before deciding.
Here are the candidates in the order in which they match your views:

Interesting. Didn't know anything about him until now.
Hunter/McCain/Thompson
I differed with Hunter as I took the longer explanation on the illegals (fine the companies, build the fence, no anchor babies and no amnesty).
On the Marriage Amendment I’m not sure that it qualifies as a Constitutional issue - but I could probably be persuaded that it is! I know its a problem with different states doing different things, but isn’t that the case with lots of things, but we can have a Federal law cover it - rather than an Amendment? I guess I’m old fashioned and think the Constitution should be left alone as much as possible.
Can you believe I am a Tancredo man? I thought I’d be closest to Hunter.
Big help!
