The congressional record contained a St. Patrick’s Day statement from John O’Kerry proudly proclaiming his Irish heritage. When he was called on it during the campaign, it was said that a member of his staff had entered that falsehood into the Congressional Record on John Kerry’s behalf and did not relate to any actual statements by JFK.
