You’re full of it. Its older people who lived when the country was still free and no one went ballistic when they lit up.
Thanks for the ping!
Some of these groups are folding tobacco into the "addiction" lexicon.
Imagine that.
It makes taxes a larger portion of the economy. Therefore, it’s a bad thing.
I luckily was able to quit smoking a lit over a yr. ago.. My husband like many other people haven’t been successful in trying. He switched to rolling tobacco to save costs. It smells better, has less chemicals and costs us a 1 lb. bag per month as opposed to two packs a day..
Now with the price increase, none of the stores around want to sell rolling tobacco due to the price going to about $45 a lb (was $20). I would’ve thought they’d carry more of it as less and less people can afford to smoke but, can’t seem to kick the habit.
So, if we can’t get rolling tobacco... We get to spend money we could spend elsewhere (like shopping to boost the local economy) to support federal programs we’ll never get to use or reap benefits from..
Sounds like a good way to boost the economy.. Not in my eyes!!
I’m a little irate and needed to vent so thanks for letting me.
Please feel free to let me know your thoughts on it
