I have had terrible luck with these bulbs.

They do not last! What brand are people using and getting good milage out of?

Here is Australia we are using Phillips “3-year”. So far, some of the initial ones are older than 3-years and still going. My husband hasn’t had to replace any of them. I don’t understand all the comments on the light color as you can get ones that give the same light as the incandescent or ones that have the light of the normal fluorescent ones. Can’t you get the same choice of light colors in the USA?
