There’s a reason those places are cheap...no one wants to live there.

St. Louis is an armpit...
Really? I live in one of the cities mentioned ... I've also lived southern California, the greater NYC metro area, and Denver, Co. Curious ... are you old enough to drive? Youth can be the only excuse for your ignorance.
Good. Does that men that the Yankees are gonna stop moving here in droves?
I'll admit right outfront that I'm a California boy, but I cannot fathom how Minneapolis, and the surrounds, ever became inhabited by humans.
Wifey comes from the area, and her family tends to choose death (and funeral visitations from us) in the dead of winter.
NFW...
We have a winnah...
Not true...We want to live here. We just don’t want other people to live here. LOL!
Yeah, those cities are like ghost towns... /sarc
Gee, that must be why the Dallas area and particularly Collin County to the North is the fastest growing county in the whole U. S. Also the 7th, 13th, and 21st fastest growing cities in the U. S. are in Collin County.
But, you’re right. Nobody wants to live here.
Jus' that way.
Theres a reason those places are cheap...no one wants to live there.
No one wants to live in Michigan either and it is not on the list!
You know what I think of when I read that list? Unions, they are all union strong holds.
I used to live in Indy and it was very inexpensive to live there. But there is absolutely NO culture and nothing distinctive about the city. I still loved it though. Real people not like the snotty leftists that inhabit Seattle.
“Theres a reason those places are cheap...no one wants to live there.”
I don’t know about that. I have lived in Houston since 1979 with an eight-year break in rural East Texas. I’d rather live in Houston than any other big city in the nation (although DFW would be a close second). The weather is lousy in the summer, but you get some of the nicest and most helpful neighbors in the world in Houston or Dallas.
And, no. I was not raised in Texas. I grew up in SE Michigan (which is both a lot prettier and a lot less comfortable place to live than Houston). I moved to Texas in my mid-20s, and would as soon stay here the rest of my life.
