Anyone who says Cincinnati is a crime ridden hell hole has obviously never been to Cincinati. Cincinnati is one of the most family-friendly places there is. Certainly, there are certain parts of town to avoid (and those parts are crime ridden and tend to make the news). But the city and its suburbs are generally one of the safest places around. Very few places in town where I would worry about locking my doors.

Glad to hear that all the violence and mayhem in Cincinnati that dominated the news a few years back was an aberration.

Blogger, I've been to Cincinnati (for baseball and football games) and found it to be a lovely city. Didn't drive around much, but thought that the area was very, very nice (and affordable especially for a football weekend).
