A constitutional government either would or would not catch bin Laden. If not, then we should man up to the fact it is a hostile country, undeserving of American aid, and make the necessary political and military adjustments in the region, rather than continue with the present charade. I see a need for the Musharraf Gov't (currently). At the same time my gut knows what VDH points out above is accurate (problem is, DEMs of this nation will never man-up, nor be intellectually honest enough regarding NS issues).

Is VDH saying we should stick to our knitting and let the world develop as it will? There is an intersection of economic power, nuclear weapons, and religious fanatics bent on conquering the world that makes it impossible.
