Armenia, Iran sign agreement on defence cooperation

Yerevan, 8 November: A memorandum on cooperation between the defence ministries of Armenian and Iran was signed in Yerevan today.

The document was signed by Armenian Defence Minister Mikayel Harutyunyan and Iranian Defence Minister Maj-Gen Mostafa Mohammad Najjar, who is on an official visit in Yerevan.

Following the signing ceremony, the parties told a joint news conference that they are ready to implement the agreements reached in the near future. In particular, it applies to logistics cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries.

Armenia has troops in Iraq and like Georgia and Azerbaijan has grown closer to NATO. The article is sparse on details.
Don’t know how to evaluate this.

Now we see as to why Armenia was demanding that Israel advertise the Armenian genocide. Like I said, it’s a propaganda tactic of many Nazi/communist groups and nations that divert blame toward Jewish people.

Armenia and Iran are both members of Russia’s SCO while not publicly acknowledging their active membership.
