Incredible. Indeed the population in Iraq is growing increasingly. There is an unprecedented baby boom.

“Militant Group Is Out of Baghdad, U.S. Says”
They had a “U.S. says”, as if the NYTimes stringer couldn’t get out into Baghdad and figure it out and declare the fact as fact:
“Militant Group Is Out of Baghdad”
Battle of Baghdad is won.

This story should belong in the breaking news section. It is the Patriotic Duty of FR during a time of war to spread the news of VICTORY.

Seems to me that of course there are no AlQeida in Mesopotamia (land between the rivers, Euphrates and Tigris), as that reference to the area predates Islam, and thus Islamofascism. But there were plenty of AlQeida in Iraq, and now thanks to US and others, there are much fewer of them.
Just the New Amsterdamn Times struggling to report pro-US news.

God bless the brave military heroes who are winning this struggle.
The tide has turned, the terrorists are on the run, and so soon will be the traitor politicians that have either directly or indirectly sabotaged their mission for so long.

Can we now declare Democratic leadership in the House and Senate treasonous and put them on trial?
If I read my Constitution correct, it only takes 2 people to come forward with charges of treason against someone. You going to tell me there isn’t one other person just on this board besides me, let alone the whole country, that wouldn’t stand up and say “Harry Reid, you are being charged with treason against the United States of America. You are under arrest.”.
To: PittsburghAfterDark
We could get the entire board I think. But they, the Washington efite elite and their media enablers, won’t listen to us peons.
The entire Swiftboaters and this board tried to slam Kerry with it as well, to no avail.

Murder victims are down 80 percent from where they were at the peak, and attacks involving improvised bombs are down 70 percent, he said.
The NY Slimes does not actually deserve any credit for finally reporting a bit of all the positive news out of Iraq because the BURIED this on A19. This is just a little soporific insurance policy for these charlatans, so that forever after when anyone criticizes them for ignoring positive news from Iraq they can cite this one story to say they have "reported" on the matter. Of course, it cannot begin to weight against the zillions of front-page hit jobs they have done for years and will continue to do for as long as their fishwrap is still published..... or at least for as long as bozos like Pinch Sulzberger and Bill Keller run the show.

PIGS are flying
Not really, I give them no credit at all for this -- I say the NY Slimes editors are just doing the absolute minimum they think they can get away with, burying the massive good news about the huge accomplishments of our troops in one small, grossly understated article hidden on page A19 and making it almost impossible to find on their website. This way these Demagogues can say they publish the good news too, but of course, it gets about 1/10,0000th the notice of all the vicious hit jobs they plaster all over the front page.
