Asked why language was inserted to specifically bar FOX News Channel from programming, he replied, "FOX News isn't a source of proper information." Well, at least we know where he stands--together with the rest of the Democrats.
Sometimes this sort of irritation is worthwhile, just to expose the bias of others.

Why dont they just ban Fox News altogether? They're studying Putin's methods as we speak.

"...the 'Voter Education and Inclusion Act.' ...claims that without [a FOX-free]
cable television, an irreplaceable source of political info and events, millions of voters nationwide will be disenfranchised from the process.".....Why do I have this sudden desire to tune into PBS?

Banning Fox News is one thing, but is anyone picking up on the fact that they want to provide cable TV to welfare recipients?

Billingsley claims..."FOX News isn't a source of proper information." WHAT?! I hope Fox picks this up. Talk about blatant censorship and free speech violations. Billingsley gets to decide what information the "poor" should get? OMG!
This should be headlines!

WHY IN THE H*LL IS MY TAX MONEY BEING USED TO PAY FOR CABLE TV FOR WELFARE RECIPEINTS? The article fails to mention that President Bush was already agreed to sign the bill.
Moreover, the article has another mistake. It is not 3 billion for free cable but actually 3 trillion dollars for Free Cable to the Poor.

I wonder how they define ‘proper information’? Never mind, we all know.

Have any of you noticed that if you have Dish Network they do not offer Fox News Channel on all of their plans?
I was surprised about this but then again, they do not offer CNN or MSNBC for their family programming just FNC.

Why are we paying for any cable TV for the poor in the first place?Doesn't the Constitution set as one of the enumerated powers of Congress, "to provide television, radio and other entertainment services for free to people who will vote for Socialists." I know it's in there somewhere.
We've clearly entered the Bread and Circuses phase.

Why are we paying for any cable TV for the poor in the first place? Why indeed? I have always joked with my kids that we are the only family in existence without cable TV (by choice, might I add). Apparently, it's not a joke anymore.

I suppose we should make sure they all have government TVs so they can utilize their government Cable Services. Don’t stop there. We need to make sure they all get the NY Times every morning on their governemnt subsidized door steps. Wait! There’s more. We need to make sure they have government computers and radios....All this to influence their vote.
If you don’t think they know they have a liberal media in their pockets, this is the proof.

“Why are we paying for any cable TV for the poor in the first place?”
Because they got used to watching their favorite shows while they were in prison. Is this a great country or what?!
