I don't like the term "human resources." It sounds like people are like lumps of coal or something. That's very perceptive. In fact, that is what is intended. Remember the old term? "Personnel"? People. People, as opposed to 'human animals' to be used for the benefit of the corporation. The term human resources derives from behavioral psychology.
