We slaughter cows and pigs and chickens for food, and nobody raises a stink about that, except for the PETA types, but kill some cute little dolphins and suddenly there’s outrage.

Exactly. It is idiotic. Dolphins are nowhere near "extinction" levels. We mass-hunt many popular fish that are more endangered. It is shocking to see so many FReepers falling for this crap just because dolphins are "cute". Must be women.

Dolphins are NOT cute. Kinda ugly, in fact. But they are smart, and there have been many documented cases of dolphins helping people.

I’d extend them the same courtesy...never know when I might want to take up diving again!
