Yup, there's a lot of that going around, even here on FR. Unfortunately some conservatives will fall for it, when the most important thing for conservatives is to get behind one acceptably conservative candidate who can beat both Rudy and Hillary. If conservatives remain split between several otherwise good conservative candidates who have no chance of winning nomination, Rudy will be the GOP nominee and Hillary will be the next president.
I'm putting my support to Thompson, because he's acceptably conservative, although not as much so as I would like on several issues, and I believe he can beat both Rudy in the primaries and Hillary in the general if enough supporters of the "no chance" conservative candidates will accept reality and vote for him in the primaries.

That's my fear, and it could come to pass. Fred Thompson is our best bet for beating Hillary.
Great picture....and so true!
Colmes made it a point of reminding him the other night on the Hannity & Colmes show about his bad track record predicting the future of Hillary. Morris threw a tizzy-fit and got his feathers ruffled, and barely spoke to Colmes any more that night.
“Look for her to curtail the wiretapping without warrants by the NSA and to weaken the Patriot Act in important respects. Hillary will have to respond to the demands of the left to curtail programs like Guantanamo and aggressive interrogation techniques even though these steps would make us more vulnerable to terrorist attacks. “
And look for us to have more 9/11 type of attacks, or worse. Of course, it will be George Bush’s fault.

One of the rare occasions Colmes DNC talking points align with reality.
