I thought Spitzer's victory would hurt Mrs. Clinton. Doesn't it make the Dems look weak on national security? Perhaps Elliot is hoping to move into the WH himself in 2012.

The feds haven't done anything here that wasn't already in the works. Spitzer's scheme still has to get past the NY Senate, which will never happen.
